Save

The Save button will save any information entered on the Summary screen as well as those transactions that have been marked as cleared (ie checkbox checked), and associate them with the current Bank Reconciliation.  Items that were previously checked and since unchecked will be unassociated with the current Bank Reconciliation document.

Saving a Bank Reconciliation document leaves the document with a status of Unreconciled.

When clicking Save, the following Calculated Current Balances values will be updated as follows:

• Checks & Credits - Reflects a summary of the selected items on the current Bank Reconciliation - Checks & Credits section.
• Deposits & Debits - Reflects a summary of the selected items on the current Bank Reconciliation - Deposits & Debits section.
• Ending Balance - Calculated as:  Beginning Balance + Deposits & Debits - Checks & Credits
• Unreconciled Balance - Calculated as:  calculated Ending Balance  -  user entered Ending Balance.  This number will need to reach $0.00 in order for the Reconcile button to become enabled.
