Submit

Once the user has completed all expense entry, the expense report can be submitted by clicking on the Submit button.

If your site is configure with any custom stored procedure validations, you may be prompted with additional messages or errors.

Depending on the approval process configuration at your site, the expense report will either enter the approval process or move straight to the Completed status (and possibly Locked if Auto-Lock is enabled).

When an expense report is submitted, it attempts to both Save and then Submit the expense report.

Expenses cannot be charged against projects having inactive Owning Orgs nor against inactive person orgs.

Once you successfully submit your expense report, you will be presented with a preview version of the expense report.

Note that if you are submitting the expense report on behalf of another user (e.g. you are another user's expense alternate), you will be cc'd on approval / disapproval email messages just as you would receive email notifications regarding your own approval progress.
