Accrual Hours (per period)

The Accrual Hours (per period) field is used to store the number of hours that are to be posted for those users associated with this particular accrual plan, having a particular number of Months of Service (calculated from their Hire Date -- which is recorded on the Person Profile).

Because this is a per period amount, you will need to calculate the specific value to a reasonably large precision.  The screen will display an approximate annual equivalent based on the period type and the per period amount you have entered.  

For example, for a weekly period type, you may use a number such as 0.7692307 to result in approximately 40 hours per year for those users (calculated as 40 hours / 52 weeks) to get your per period amount.
