Active

The Active field indicates whether the email template will be available for use.  

If a template is not active, it will no longer appear as an available choice in various drop-down lists.

Note that disabling an Email Reminder email template will prevent future scheduled reminders from being sent. The scheduler will continue to fire and record that it has fired, however, the emails for that type of template will not be sent.
