Bill Rate Source

Determines the default value for the source for bill rate information.  The current options include:

• Default to the Person's Bill Rate

• Default to the Labor Category's Bill Rate

This value will influence which option will be selected by default when a project manager accesses the people Assignment screens.  This setting will also be referenced when user's create their own assignments (via the Time >> Plan screens). Since the users may not have control over the source of their bill rate information, this setting will define how their rates will be determined once they begin to charge time to self planned assignments.

Changing this setting will trigger re-rating, which may modify existing time entries associated with non-LOCKED, non-EXTRACTED time for this project.
