Calculated Current Balances

The fields in this section of the Bank Reconciliation screens include:

• Beginning Balance - If a previous Bank Reconciliation exists for this Bank Account, this value will default to the calculated Ending Balance from that previous Bank Reconciliation.  If no previous Bank Reconciliation exists, then this value will display a $0.00.
• Checks & Credits - Reflects a summary of the selected items on the current Bank Reconciliation - Checks & Credits section.
• Deposits & Debits - Reflects a summary of the selected items on the current Bank Reconciliation - Deposits & Debits section.
• Ending Balance - Calculated as:  Beginning Balance + Deposits & Debits - Checks & Credits
• Unreconciled Balance - Calculated as:  calculated Ending Balance  -  user entered Ending Balance.  This number will need to reach $0.00 in order for the Reconcile button to become enabled.

Note that the calculated values will be updated upon clicking Save.
