Classification
The Classification selection drives the following:
Valid values for this field include:
Salaried: employees who are paid a fixed amount every period (in previous Unanet versions this was the Exempt option)
Hourly: employees who are paid hourly (in previous Unanet versions this was the Non-Exempt option)
Non-Employee: non-employees who are paid hourly
Non-Employee (PO): non-employees whose timesheet cells and expense report lines will be mapped to a PO/PO Line if a PO Assignment has been created to do the mapping (only for Financial licenses); this will be the only available option if the user has Designate this user as subcontractor on the Roles tab selected
Employee Classification impacts the labor cost calculations:
for Salaried users if your Unanet application is configured to use Cost Rate Dilution
for Hourly and Non-Employees (regarding the use of pay code factors)
for Non-Employee (PO) (cost rate can be specified in the PO Assignment)
