Cost Element

The Cost Element field will determine the specific cost element that will be updated during the Cost Pools Calculation process.

The list of values available when adding or updating a cost pool entry include all Cost Elements of type Indirect Costs (as defined on the Setup >> Cost Elements screen.

Providing an option in this field is only allowed when the Post Rate to Cost Structure option has been checked.

Note that multiple cost pools cannot be mapped to the same cost element within a cost pool group.
