Data Area
The Data Area drop-down list will contain a listing of the available data areas to be used in an ad hoc report. The contents of this drop-down list will change depending on your user role.
Similar to the standard built in reports, Managers will have access to People oriented data areas while Project Managers will have access to Project oriented data areas. Administrators will have access to all areas. Those data areas that do not apply to your particular roles will not be displayed.
Note that certain data areas will not be present depending on which modules are installed. That is, if you do not have the following modules, you will not have the listed data areas:
Time - Time, Pay Code
Expense - Expense
People - Plans, Skills
