Location

This field is used specify a particular Location value to be associated with an assignment or planned work entry.  This field is not a required field.

• On listings, a location reflected in light gray text indicates a default value (e.g. the person's default location) vs. an explicit override entered by a project assigner or planner (which is displayed in a darker font).

• If this project is set up to have a project level list of available locations, drop-down lists will contain only those project locations.

• If a location is specified on an assignment, it will be the only option available in the user's location drop-down list  on their timesheet (if the location column is not hidden on the timesheet)

• If the location column is hidden on the timesheet, the location specified on the assignment will be recorded with time entries to that project / task.
