New Password

A password the user will use to login to the Unanet application.  

This field is not required during user creation, however, without a password, a user cannot log in.

 There are a number of unanet properties that can be configured to control password expiration and other password characteristics.  Check out the unanet properties for more information.

This field is case sensitive.

The Confirm Password field is used to confirm the entered password when set or reset.

When updating a password, Unanet requires that the new password is different than the existing password.  Unanet does not prevent, however, the re-use of previously used passwords.

This value is included in a hashing algorithm and stored in an encrypted format for security reasons.  As such, there is no particular limit on allowable value length.
