Posting Options

In this section of the screen, the Administrator can indicate if a particular accrual plan should participate in manual or automated posting by selecting one of the following options:

 

Note that plans that are configured to participate in the automatic / scheduled posting can continue to be manually posted as well.  Also, these plans can be unposted just like manually posted plans.

 

Notification Recipients -- This option is only available if one of the automated options is selected.  This is an optional field, and if an email id (or comma separated list of ids) is specified, an email will be sent whenever an accrual plan participates in an automated posting.  The email will have an attachment that will include the detailed output of the posting process (this is the same output that is displayed on the screen when a post is manually run).

 

Note that in order to use the Automatic Posting option, the Administrator will need to enable the Scheduler to trigger the automated accrual posting job.  This will need to be done via the Admin >> Schedule screen.   Until such time that the scheduler has been enabled, a red message will appear at the bottom of this screen, reminding the administrator that the 'Automated Accrual Post' must be enabled.
