Rate

This field contains a rate associated with the pay code's additional pay and is a per hour rate.  This field is optional.  

Rates can be any value (positive, negative or zero).

If a value is provided, it becomes available in the process of calculating additional pay associated with time charged to a particular pay code.

Calculation of effective cost rate is: (cost rate * dilution factor if applicable) + additional pay rate.

When a pay code is configured with a Salaried Usage of Leave Without Pay, a single entry for rate will span BOT - EOT with a Rate of 0 and Cost Rate Factor of 0, and will be uneditable.
