Username

This field is the unique Unanet User ID.  The value for this field is defined on the Administrative People Profile maintenance screen.  The value supplied is always converted to all capitals when being authenticated -- thus it is not case sensitive in that respect, however, the value is displayed on several screens and will appear in mixed case as it is entered.

This value can be updated.  

Do note that when you change a username all associated data will remain intact with the user account, however, the password will be invalidated and will need to be reset (as the username is one of the components in the hashing algorithm used to store the encrypted password).
