When selecting the Time Period radio button option, the control will appear as below:
The Include Actuals In selection criteria can be used to narrow down which details will be included in the output. If you select the Time Period option, financial document labor will not be included because the labor is not related to a given time period.
In this version of the Date control, you have the option of specifying:
Custom Date Range -- You can specify a specific From and To date by either typing in the dates directly or using the calendar control
Named Date Range -- You can specify a named date range from the list of available built-in values. This approach may be particularly helpful if you plan to save the criteria.
Note that if you have enabled the Allow Creation of and Show Fiscal Calendar Options (unanet.fiscal_calendar.enabled) property, additional 'fiscal' period options will be available in the drop-down.
Fiscal periods must be established via the Admin >> Setup >> Fiscal Year screen in order to be available for use in reporting. Specific Fiscal Periods appearing in drop-down lists will be a concatenation of Fiscal Year Name w/ Accounting Period.
Time Period -- You can specify one or many specific time periods to be included in the resulting report output.
Note: The default sort order of the values presented in this list is first by time period type and then by time period date. Using the Sort Time Period Drop-downs by Type (unatime.time_period_criteria.sort_by_type) property, this can be changed to sort initially by date and then by time period type. This may be useful if you employ the use of several different time periods within your system and would like to see all of the current period options sorted together in this list.
Note: On the Daily Actuals reports, the number of "Time Periods" allowed can be configured via the Max Time Periods on Daily Actuals Report (unatime.daily_actuals.num_time_periods) property.
Note the when selecting a 'weekly overlap' time period, only those hours on the over lap day belonging to the selected time period will be included in the resulting output.
