Sel Crit Organization

The Organization selection criteria can be used to search for and select a single Organization to be included in the output.

If you do not want to include all Organizations in the drop-down list box to select from, you can use the filter options and click on the filter icon (

) to narrow down the list of items to select from. Once you have narrowed down the list, you must select one and only one Organization.

For example, if you only wanted to include only the Organization having the Org Code ABC, you could supply ABC in the Org. Code filter field. If you wanted to include Organizations beginning with Org Code 01, you could supply 01 in the Org. Code filter field. Additionally, if you wanted to return all Project Organizations that have a project that begins with project code CONSULT, you could filter for CONSULT in the Project Code filter field (specifying the Search for Project Orgs only radio button).

Depending on the current user's role, the Organization and Project filters for this report will include:

Project Managers, Project Leads, Project Approvers, Project Viewers & Resource Requestor
- those organizations to which they have access via an Organization Access relationship, as well as organizations associated with the projects to which they have an explicit relationship (either directly or via an alternate relationship).
- those projects to which the user is explicitly associated, plus those projects to which they have access via an Organization Access relationship (plus those projects they can see via an alternate relationship).
Administrators -- all projects and organizations.

When entering filter criteria, the result set will include entries that match the first X characters entered in the filter criteria. The following characters can be entered as wild cards in the search selection criteria for certain fields:

% -- (percent sign) this character will match any number of characters --- for example: %net would match "Unanet", "Network", and "Basketball Net". By default, the % sign is appended (but not displayed) to all entered filter criteria. Thus entering "Una" alone or entering "Una%", would match: Unanet, UnaTime, Una$ense and UnaSource.
_ -- (underscore) this character will match any one character -- for example: X_Z would match "XYZ" and "XBZ" -- but not "XABZ"
You can also use a combination of these characters for complex matching --- for example: U_an% would match Unanet

Note that you may also specify more than one filter criteria by entering a comma separated list in the filter text box.

For example, to include all items that begin with a and c, format your filter criteria as:

a,c

Note that after making any changes to the filter criteria, you will need to click on the filter icon (

) or enter to re-populate the select box.
