Use the % (percent sign) in any filter field to populate the multi-select box with all available items.

 

The Vendor selection criteria can be used to narrow down which vendor organizations will be included in the output (by limiting the results to a sub-set of Vendors having been specified as a Vendor for a particular Legal Entity or All Legal Entities).  By default, no filtering by Vendor will occur.  

If you do not want to include all Vendors, you can use the Vendor filter option and click on the filter icon () to narrow down the list of items in the multi-select box.  Once you have narrowed down the list, you can further select and de-select individual items in the multi-select box.

If Financial Documents and Expense options are selected in the Include Transactions For filter, then vendors from the Vendor Invoices, Vendor Payments, Journal Entries, Customer Payments, or Deposits that match the selected Vendors will be included in the report (depending on which Document Types selected on criteria).

If the Expense Report option is selected in the Include Transactions For filter, then vendors from the expense report user's Profile Expense tab that match the selected Vendors will be included in the report.

If the transactions are not related to a Vendor and Vendor is specified in the criteria, then they will not be included in the report.

What is eligible to appear in the multi-select box filtered results?

The Vendor Organizations that may appear in the filtered results include only those organizations that have been designated as a Vendor for all or specific Legal Entity organizations.  This relationship is defined on the Organization >> Edit >> Vendor Profile screens (where you edit a particular organization and define the list of organizations for which the current organization is to be considered a Vendor).  Both active and inactive Vendors will appear in the filtered results.

The list of Vendor Organizations that may be returned in the filtered results will be limited to those associated with Legal Entities that match the current user's access (see Organization Access restrictions). This restriction does not apply to user's having the Administrator role.
